Like most of us, there is nothing more important to me then spending time with my family- playing outside on a warm summer day, smelling the fresh blooming flowers that we've picked, baking cookies together, building a snowman with the scent of pine in the air and all the laughter! As I burn candles from Gold Canyon each scent brings back special memories which puts a smile on my face and brings love into my heart! The scents create a theraputic atmosphere that keeps your spirits up and relaxes you!!

For me, that truly is the essence of living well™! My Gold Canyon Story

It's simple to say that I LOVE CANDLES! Ever since I can remember, I love the way a candle can change your mood or bring back a memory or even just create warmth in your favorite room.

I loved candles so much that I decided I wanted to start my own business of selling candles but I was always afraid of what the outcome would be , so I never tried.

Then one day while I was sitting in an office at the bank, I noticed a book called Gold Canyon and saw they sold candles. I wrote down the name so I could see if they had a website, which they did! I wanted to see what Gold Canyon was all about. After all, this could be my chance to be able to sell candles, make some extra money, be able to stay home with my daughter and meet new people!! After looking through the website not only could this be my chance to make some extra money to stay home with my daughter but I would be part of a team, be able to meet new people and build friendships and to also be able to help other children in need (which Karen and Curt Waisath founded called The Prayer Child Foundation). I thought if I could do this I would be making a difference not just in my child's life and mine but in the lives of other children who are in need! That's when I said okay I am going for it! I got in contact with a wonderful lady who not only helped me with hosting my first party but helped me get signed up the same day! I became a Independent Demonstrator the same day as my party! I am really excited to be part of Gold Canyon and all the wonderful people who are part of it! I do have the jitters but with the continued support I have from family and friends (Old & New) who are the ones who made it possible for me to be able to start Gold Canyon and all the support you get from everyone in the Gold Canyon Family ~ it is easy to do and you can and will be able to achieve those dreams!
